The Lottie Shaws story began over a hundred years ago, right in the heart of Yorkshire. Beginning with Lottie’s Great Aunts; Mary and Edith Harrison, setting out to bake and sell their original recipes of Yorkshire specialities. Little did they know the impact they would have, with their traditional recipes being passed down over three generations. These recipes have become famous for their high quality, with the Yorkshire Parkin being the award-winning signature of the company. Lottie Shaw’s partners with many local artisan producers; the eggs are free-range, flour is locally milled and the oatmeal is produced by one of the oldest family firms in England.

If there’s anyone who knows about the importance of starting the day right, it’s the Hirds - the fifth generation of sheep farmers that have been farming Yockenthwaite since 1842. Their unique granola recipe is full of flavour and has been tried and tested by their visitors over the past decade. Porridge and muesli are now part of their award-winning range too - so you can start your day the right way.

An inspirational story of a family who have made a new life for themselves in Yorkshire following the war in Syria in 2012, Razan decided to bring the best of Yorkshire dairy and her love of her favourite Syrian ‘squeaky cheese’ to create Yorkshire Dama Cheese, an award winning (and expanding) range of delicious halloumi cheese.
You might not be able to connect a pharmacy degree to fine cheese making, but Razan sure did. Starting up in 2014, the company won the World Cheese Award the bronze prize just four months after their cheese production began. With another six years of cheese making experience under their belts, just imagine how good the cheeses from this family business taste now.
Based in beautiful Malton, The Yorkshire Pasta Company took a leap of faith in 2019 to fulfill their dream of creating premium quality pasta. Their skilled pasta makers are committed to learning from the best; Italian family-run businesses that know what it takes to make pasta that tastes as good as it looks. They’ve refined and perfected their techniques to perfection, using traditional bronze dies for that ideal shape and texture, and slow-drying their pasta to develop the delicious flavour.

Horsforth Brewery is run by innovative brewer Mark Costello supplying the local Horsforth and wider Leeds areas with tasty, quality beers.
Mark is keen to share his knowledge and passion, so is always willing to chat to others whilst enjoying some beers too!
Horsforth Brewery's flagship beer is Pale, and also offers an ever-changing range of specials, using lots of different ingredients to showcase a wide variety of beer styles.
Hesper are proud to be the first farm in Britain to create skyr. Originating from Iceland, skyr contains roughly four times the amount of milk as a standard yoghurt, making it luxuriously creamy. Hesper’s award winning Aireburn herd produces all the high quality milk used in the skyr. In addition to their passion for skyr, this young farm is passionate about protecting their little corner of countryside and focuses heavily on sustainable and ethical farming.
Drawing on 30 years experience working for leading supermarkets and running his own delicatessen, it’s safe to say Yorkshire’s Michael Lee lives and breathes cheese. Michael Lee’s team of cheese specialists share this passion for quality and are highly skilled in their own unique roles. From knowing the grass cattle are bred on through to the maturation process, there’s no stone left unturned when it comes to their artisan cheese making process. The extensive range of Michael Lee cheeses even includes vegan cheese alternatives, so everyone can enjoy the taste of their favourite indulgence. You won’t just find an extensive range of British and continental cheeses here; their deli product range is home to fine meats, antipasti, dried goods and more.

Dating back to the 11th century, the Swaledale Cheese Company have certainly got some history behind them. The original recipe using ewe’s milk is said to have been passed down from ancient monks to the farmers of Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales. Since then, the recipes have evolved to include cow and goat milk, but today’s artisan cheese making process has been unchanged since 1987, when Swaledale cheese production began.
